How we write, review, update, and correct content on the Gleanit blog.

Editorial standards

Blog posts on gleanit.co are written and reviewed by Ovannes Galstian, founder of Gleanit. We aim for accurate, practical guidance — especially on tool comparisons, workflows, and research habits we use ourselves.

When we recommend software, we disclose when Gleanit is one of the options and explain why it fits a specific job. We do not accept payment for placement in comparison articles.

Updates and revisions

Each article shows a published date and last updated date at the top. Material changes — removed products, revised pricing, corrected facts — are noted in an editor's note at the bottom of the post with a [Updated Month YYYY] marker when relevant.

Comparison lists and pricing notes are rechecked when vendors change their plans or when a major product shuts down (for example, Mozilla ending Pocket in 2025).

Corrections policy

If you spot a factual error, outdated pricing, or a broken claim, please email ovannes@hearye.co with the article URL and what should change.

Correction: verified mistakes are fixed promptly. We update the article body, adjust the last-updated date, and add a brief editor's note when the correction affects recommendations readers may rely on.

We do not silently rewrite articles without a trace — meaningful corrections are visible in the revision history we maintain internally and, when appropriate, in the public editor's note.
